Obituary of Carol Ann Degrasse

Please share a memory of Carol to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Glenburn—Carol Ann Degrasse, 54, died Saturday, November 19, 2022, at a Bangor hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was born July 8, 1968, in Maryland, the daughter of Joseph and Joanne (Margison) Degrasse.

Carol grew up in Orono and attended Orono schools.  She was a hard worker with a strong work ethic.  Even while she was sick, she preferred to work rather than file for disability.  She loved animals, especially cats, which she always had several of.

Carol was predeceased by sister Karen L. Davis.  She is survived by her parents; sons James Degrasse of Glenburn and Ricky A. Robinson, Jr. and wife Jessica of Fort Wayne, IN; significant other Stuart Morris, Jr., of Glenburn; her son’s grandparents Bill and Nancy McLaughlin, with whom she was especially close.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME  04401.  A private burial will be held in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Orono.  Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer.  Messages and memories may be shared with the family at kileyandfoley.com
