BANGOR – Marylynn Marie Thompson, 70, went to Heaven December 28, 2022, after a long illness.  She was born January 18, 1952, the daughter of George and Annie (Sullivan) Thompson.

 

Marylynn graduated from Bangor High School, Class of 1970.  She attended Eastern Nazarene College.  She worked as a teller and stenographer at Bangor Savings Bank.  She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.  Marylynn was known throughout her life as having little but giving much.

 

She was predeceased by her parents; brother Fred Bartlett, Dwight Bartlett, James Thompson.  Marylynn is survived by sister Jo-Ann Emery of Orrington; nephew Christopher Emery and wife Ashley of Hermon; great-nephews Collin, Connor, and Colby Emery.

 

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who cared for Marylynn over the years, particularly Ross Manor, DaVita Dialysis and Cancer Care of Maine.  A special thank you to Marylynn’s friend Dick for his encouragement and kindness. 

 

Private burial will take place at Mt. Hope City Cemetery, Bangor.  Messages and memories may be shared at kileyandfoley.com
