Helen Ida Overlock, 83 of Levant, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 22, 2023.  She was born in Bangor on June 3, 1939, the daughter of Alden and Myrtle (Bonney) Thibeau.

Helen and her husband Wendell were pastors of several churches in Maine and Florida, but her home church of 30+ years was Carmel Full Gospel Church on Damascus Road in Carmel.  After moving to Zephyrhills, FL, they were pastors at. the Zephyrhills Full Gospel Church. 

She was predeceased by her parents and husband Wendell G. Overlock.  Helen is survived by children Dennis Overlock and wife Debra Maki, Lynn and husband Ricky Harvey, Kathy and husband Desmond Harvey, Shawn Overlock, and Scott Overlock; 18 grandchildren Jamie Painter, Chuck Homsted, Desarae' Desjardins, Andrew Harvey, Tamara Robinson, Wayne Robinson, Travis Robinson, Adam Robinson, Robert Kubishak, Raymond Kubishak, Nicole Overlock, Brittany Overlock, Ryan Overlock, Hunter Harvey, Lavender Harvey, Tiffany Overlock, Kyle Overlock, Amanda Overlock; several great-grandchildren. Helen and her smile will be missed by all that knew her.  Heaven has been blessed with a wonderful woman of God.

Family and friends are invited to visit 1:30-2 P.M. Monday, January 30, 2023, at Carmel Crossing Life Church, formerly known as Carmel Full Gospel Church, 87 Damascus Road, Carmel.  A celebration of life, officiated by Brother Lyman Curtis of the Dexter Pentecostal Church, will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 2 P.M..  All are invited for refreshments following the service at the church.  Spring burial will take place 2 P.M. Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Union St., Hermon.  Please have flowers delivered directly to the church.  Please come celebrate the life of Helen Overlock.
