Obituary of Andrew Dean Taylor
Andrew D. Taylor passed away unexpectedly February 8, 2023 at his home in Bangor. He was born November 26, 1962 in Houlton, Maine.
Andy attended and graduated from Houlton High School and was a member of the varsity baseball team. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was very proud to have served aboard the USS Lexington. He made many friendships while in the Navy that lasted a lifetime. Andy considered all his friends his family. Andy had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. He was always the life of the party and brought so much excitement wherever he would go. One of Andy’s greatest accomplishments in his life was his family. He loved them with his whole heart.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jean and Bud Taylor; brother James Taylor; son Jeremiah Taylor. Andy is survived by his stepdaughter, Heather Newman and her children of Florida; special aunt, Winona Cote of Brewer; sister, Kathy Taylor and partner Jason McCue of Clifton; brother, Robert Taylor of Brewer; sister, Debra Callahan and husband Timothy of Bangor; very special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; many loving cousins and cherished friends.
A graveside service will be held in the spring on a date to be determined at Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton, Maine. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer. Messages and memories may be shared with the family at kileyandfoley.com
