Obituary of Tracey A. Proulx
It is with great sorrow that we announce that Tracey A. Proulx, 58, passed away unexpectedly on April 29, 2023 at EMMC with his family by his side. Known as “Red” to his friends, he was born on March 2, 1965 to Joyce (Canwell) and Perley Proulx in Bangor, Maine.
He is survived by his dog Bella whom he spoiled with unconditional love and as many treats as she wanted. His brothers; Tom and Vicki Proulx of Brewer, Terry Proulx of Bucksport, and Ted and Leslie Proulx of Orrington; sister-in-law Lori Proulx of Holden. He was predeceased by his parents, his long-term partner Robin Doughty Patterson, and his big brother Tim Proulx.
He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends, many who spent countless afternoons and nights hanging out with Red in his garage at his home in Eddington. The family would like to thank the friends that helped out at Red’s house and the staff in the EMMC ICU that provided Red with care and consideration in his final days.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Bangor Humane Society in Red’s name, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor, ME 04401 or HERE. A celebration of Red’s life will be held at a later date.
