Jean Beale

Obituary of Jean Harriet Beale

Jean H. Beale, 73, passed shortly after surgical complications on May 6, 2023. Her daughter, Moira Beale, was with her.

Jean was born February 20, 1950, in Worcester, MA. She was the third child of Harry and Claire (Young) Fenner. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy and Quinsigamond Community College with a degree in accounting.

Among Jean’s favorite jobs were accountant for Clark University and Tufts Animal Hospital, security screener at Bangor International Airport, and accountant for Vine Street School in Bangor. Through these careers she made many close friends who became family.

Jean was a vibrant, giving part of many communities. She loved spending time with her family, especially dining out with Thomas and Jonathan and going to the casino with Moira. She loved the ocean and was rarely seen without a mystery novel. She loved God and served her church community well.

Jean was predeceased by her parents and brother, Robert Fenner. She is survived by her husband, Thomas; children, David, Moira, and Jonathan, all of whom were her world; grandson, Alex; great-grandsons, Maddox and Ezra; sisters, Therese, Claire, Susan, and Anne; many cousins, nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
