Obituary of Ann-Marie Comer
Ann-Marie Comer, 71, passed away on August 7, 2023, after a long battle with chronic illness.
Ann-Marie was born and raised on the west side of Bangor, attending Bangor schools and participating in community activities such as girl scouts. She played the piano, multiple sports, and enjoyed blueberry picking in the summer with her family. As an adult she was an active member of the community belonging to a local CB radio club, van club, bowling league and more.
She worked for many years as a supervisor for the landline phone company, a time before cell phones, text messages, and the internet was at your fingertips. You pressed 0, an operator came on the line and made the call for you! Later she went on to work at BMHI, and other local businesses before becoming her mother’s caretaker for ten years. If you knew Ann, you knew she loved to talk! She could talk to anyone and made friends anywhere she went. She was a die-hard Patriots fan and loved all animals, especially cats.
Ann-Marie was predeceased by most of her family including her parents William and Leola Comer, and her brother William Comer Jr. She is survived by her only daughter Melissa Bolduc and her husband Matthew, two grandchildren, Noah Robinson and his girlfriend Sydney Jordan, and Zoe Bolduc, all of Bangor. She will be greatly missed by her longtime partner Gary Adams whom she loved very much.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday August 22, 2023, at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St.Marys Catholic Church, Ohio St., Bangor. A graveside committal will directly follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor (John entrance)
After the services family and friends are welcome to Melissa's home for a celebration of her life where we can talk, laugh, and enjoy the company of others as she would have wanted us to do.
