Joshua Robert Devereaux, 29, died unexpectedly October 26, 2023 in Bangor. He was born May 11, 1994 in Worcester, Massachusetts, the son of Daniel A. Devereaux and Lynda M. (Bregoli) Devereaux.

Josh was a 2013 graduate of Bangor High School and attended the University of Maine. Josh was bright, well read, and an ace at trivia. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching and attending games of the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots. Growing up, Josh was an athlete himself. He played in many youth sports leagues and developed into a devoted Bangor Ram - a member of Bangor High's football, hockey, and track teams. In addition, Josh spent many of his summers attending Camp Jordan and Windover Art Center.

A true creative at heart, Josh appreciated many different forms of art, music, and nature. He enjoyed traveling and exploring what his many destinations had to offer. Known amongst his family as the "grill master", Josh also excelled at cooking and could make a superb steak. Most of all, Josh cherished the time he spent with his family, friends, and pets. His favorite pastime was making his loved ones smile and he never failed to make those around him laugh. His generosity and kindness will be forever apparent in the hearts of those that knew and loved him.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Christopher D. Devereaux of Bangor and his sister, Alyson M. Devereaux of Brighton, Massachusetts; as well as aunts and cousins.
