Sandra D. (Brooks) Hart, 79, died November 13, 2023. She was born November 11, 1944 in Bangor, the daughter of Reginald E. and Evelyn J. (Herring) Brooks.

Sandi graduated from Hampden Academy in 1962 and from D’Lor School of Cosmetology in 1968. She excelled in several occupations throughout her working career. Sandi was employed by Nissan Bakery in Brewer through the 70s before moving to Florida where she worked as a secretary for a property management company in Jacksonville. Sandi returned to Maine and worked in patient accounts for 20 years at Neurology Associates of Eastern Maine where she made many life-long friends. She enjoyed music, dancing, reading, Nascar (especially Ryan Newman #39) and spending time with her family and friends. Sandi was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, #3177, Brewer.  Mom persevered through many challenges during her life and was a beautiful example of grit and determination. We will forever admire her strength.
