Susanne M. Tirpak, 61, died December 31, 2023 after a prolonged illness. She was born in Bangor January 31, 1962 to Edwin A. and Janice M. (Neilander) Cormier.


She attended John Bapst High School graduating in 1980 and she spent 21 years living in Georgia where her son, Andrew, was born.

She was predeceased by her parents and many beloved felines.  Surviving are her son Andrew Tirpak of Georgia; a sister, Maureen Cormier of Bangor and a brother Allen Cormier of Hollis NH; many cousins and nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved cats, Casper and Love. Her family would like to thank Dr. Ruta Grebliunaite DO and Joe Harkins, PAC for the compassionate care they provided Susanne.

There will be no visitation.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12:00 PM Friday Jan 5, 2024 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church, 768 Ohio St., Bangor with a reception immediately afterward.  In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorial donations to the Bangor Humane Society, 693 Mt. Hope Ave., Bangor or bangorhumane.org. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer. Messages and memories may be share with her family on the tribute wall of kileyandfoley.com.
