Obituary of Mary C. Mulldune

Mary C. Mulldune, 85, went home to Jesus peacefully on May 20, 2024 at her home in Carmel. She was born December 16, 1938 in Bath, the daughter of Eugene and Doris (Dulac) Demmons.

Mary worked as a chef for Husson University in Bangor for 30 years, a career that she enjoyed. Mary enjoyed camping, horse racing, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her fiancé, Michael Tammany of Carmel; two children, Brenda Greene of Bangor and Linda Meachum and her husband, David of Jeffersonville, IN; four grandchildren, Christopher and Aaron Meachum, John Hawes and Heather O’Neil; 12 great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Marlee, Lukas, Haddie, Saige, Jade, Jonathon, Christian, Alijah, Kaitlyn, Keegan and Savannah; one great great grandchild; one brother, Louis Demmons and his wife, Lucille of Carmel and one sister, Barbara Potter of Bangor; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her husband, Clinton Mulldune; her son Ronald, daughter Deborah and grandson Timothy (TJ).  She will be remembered by a dear friend, Charlotte Hanscom of Bangor. 

Mary’s family gratefully thanks the staff at Northern Light Home Care & Hospice for their exceptional care and dedication to caring for Mary.

A graveside service will held  11 AM Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to Northern Light Home Care & Hospice, care of Northern Light Health Foundation, PO Box 679, Portland, ME 04104.
