Obituary of Carolyn Anne Campbell
Carolyn Campbell, 84, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on May 23, 2024, after a brief illness of cancer. She was born in Bangor, ME, on April 25, 1940, to Leo and Freda Campbell. She and Carolyn spent many summers on their island on Green Lake. In recent years, she had a camp on Chemo Pond, where she had many happy memories of her childhood summers spent at her parents camp on the pond.
She was predeceased by her partner of 33 years, Carolyn Blake; her brother, Larry Campbell; and her sister, Shirley Rinard. She is survived by her sister, Bonnie Yost; son, Lee Kitchen; daughters, Kerry Davis and partner, Scott Clarke, and Ann Harmon and her husband, William; six grandchildren, Jen Harriman, David VanWart, Michael Miles, Jesse Miles, Rebecca Miles, Sarah Miles; and great-grandchildren, Arabella, Chase, Lily, Charlotte, Noah, Kaytlin, Harleigh, Ryley, Marissa, Carmella, Michael, Oliver, Jaxson, Isabella, Kayleb; and her many friends.
There will be an open house celebration of life, at her house in Brewer, on June 9 from 2-5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or charity of your choice.
