Judy I. Sherman, 72, wife of Randall “Randy” A. Sherman, died unexpectedly Dec. 16, 2024 in Bangor. She was born May 27, 1952, in Bangor, the daughter of Joseph F. and Isabelle (McKenna) Murray.

Judy attended schools in Brewer, ME and was a longtime resident of Holden. She most recently worked for the University of Maine bookstore retiring in 2017 after many years. Judy was a loving wife and mother and will be remembered for her infectious laugh, beautiful nails and wearing heels no matter the occasion.  She enjoyed time with friends, especially the group of ladies from her school years and numerous members of the skydiving community.   

Surviving in addition to her husband of 56 years are two children, Randall Sherman, Jr. and his wife, Roxanne of Sidney and Lance Sherman and his wife, Laurie of Orrington; four grandchildren, Dustin and Harley Sherman, Riley, and Laney Sherman; three siblings, Pat Murray and his wife Mary Ann of Orrington, Marilyn Gray of Orrington and Bridget Murray and her fiancé, John Huskins of Eastbrook; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and one sister, Shirley Murray.
