Bangor – Marguerite E. Dowling, 93, wife of the late Raymond Dowling, died July 23, 2016 in Brewer. She was born Feb. 2, 1923 in Montpelier, VT, the daughter of Ida Chipman
Marguerite loved her family and enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren. She liked to sew, play cards, go yard saling and she was known to occasionally steal blueberries from the blueberry fields.
Surviving are two children, James Dowling and his wife, Jody of Alton and Donna Green of Bangor; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit 11 AM to 1 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service honoring Marguerite’s life will be held at 1 PM as the visitation concludes.
