Kendall R. Gordon Jr. Brewer & Orono - Kendall Roy Gordon Jr. passed away unexpectedly, on Oct 21, 2015 in Veazie. He was born September 26, 1965, in Ellsworth to Kendall R. Gordon Sr. and Patricia A. Gordon. He lived and attended schools in Ellsworth, Belgrade Lakes and Brewer during his youth. Kendall was an exceptional athlete and loved and excelled in all sports while he was growing up. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially King salmon fishing and dip netting on the Kenai and other rivers in Alaska and on the boat, Dirty Beaver, in Maine. Kendall was blessed to be able to work and live in Alaska periodically over the past ten years of his life. He cherished all of his experiences there being one of the few people to be able to experience the North Slope of Alaska. He had a brilliant mind, though chose to work with his hands as he was a very talented finish carpenter and builder. Kendall has left behind many beautiful structures as unique as a lighthouse near Rockland, and his cousin, Allen Campbell's custom log home in Alaska. His biggest loves, after his girlfriend Torri, was riding his Harley and playing pool. Kendall celebrated life, loved to travel and meet people, and lived life his way. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Oscar Gordon, Lila LeClaire, Clifford and Eleanor Campbell and uncle Randall Gordon. He leaves behind his sweetheart, Torri Whitcomb of Orono; his parents, Ken and Pat of Alaska and Brewer; daughter, Dana Shore and grandchildren, Xavier and Quentin of Georgia; sister, Terri Schrader and niece, Miranda of Wasilla, Alaska; brother Kevin Gordon and sister-in-law, Emily, nephews, Caleb and Jacob and niece, Sarah of Santa Clara, California; and dog, Splash, numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He will be remembered by lifelong friends, Sharon Knapp, Sherri Price, Greg and Gary Coleman, Arty Niles and Danny Patterson, and special friends in Maine and Alaska, Bailey, Paul, D.J., Dave, Carl, Missy, Celia, Lauri, Dwight and Sharon, and brothers in the Exiles motor cycle club of Maine. Family and friends may visit 1- 3 PM Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service honoring his life will be held at 3 PM as the visitation concludes with Pastor Kirk Winters presiding. Private burial will be at a later date.
