Obituary of Thomas H. Hayden

Thomas H. Hayden Glenburn – Thomas H. Hayden, 63, died Oct. 11, 2016 in Bangor. He was born Dec. 23, 1952 in Hartford, Connecticut, the son of Linwood G. and Inez T. (Dow) Hayden. Tom graduated from John Bapst High School and attended East Carolina University and the Univ. of Maine. He worked for the State of Maine as a property negotiator . He also worked in the water business for many years as a superintendent. His love was family, friends and fishing, especially trolling for salmon at East Grand Lake. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen “Kathy” Hayden of Glenburn; two children, Aaron Hayden of Boston and Lindsey Parent and her husband, Christopher of Portland; his parents, Linwood G. and Inez T. Hayden of Zephyrhills, FL; a brother, Wayne Dobson and his wife, Christine of Clermont, FL; brother-in-law, Mike and Vickie Gunn of Indialantic, FL. He will be remembered by Special lifelong friends, Brian and Jackie Enman of Brewer, Ted and Sue Corbett of Brewer and his fishing partner, Andre Parent and his wife, Linda of Hermon. He was predeceased by his in-laws, Mary and Frank “Ben” Gunn. Family and friends may visit 4 - 6 PM Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 at Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, 299 Union St., Bangor where a service honoring Tom’s life will be held 11 AM Monday, Oct, 17, 2016.
