It's only been a week Dad, but it feels like forever. I thought we would have time together after your diagnosis to make sure all wounds were healed. I know in my heart that they were even without words. The last thing you said to me, that I could clearly understand, was, " okay, I love you." I was very grateful for the time we did have but we lost you way too fast. I hope you're flying high on a hog through those "pearly gates" and having the time of your life. No more suffering, no more worries so you can finally be at peace. I loved you, and still love you, Dad with all of my heart no matter how brief our calls or visits were. I know where ever I am you are too making my life even greater. There will be a day, I look forward to, when I will see you again, but until then you rest pain free and in peace. I love you Dad.
