Danny and I had only met about 7-8 months ago, and just in that short amount of time he had such a big impact and became one of my best friends and someone I would talk to on the daily. I am so grateful I even got to know you. Something I will never forget is how big his heart was and how safe I felt in his presence and speaking to him about anything. He had the most infectious laugh and smile that could brighten the darkest room. I miss getting my daily memes on insta, I miss getting the snap of showing me your new shoes, talking about our girl Coi, I miss kicking it watching football with you, and I will forever wish we had more time to make more memories. I will forever wish you had more days in this world because it's not the same without you. We will continue to share stories and remember you for the amazing man you were, until we see you again. Love and miss you forever Danny.

I can’t believe it’s been a month, since we last spoke to each other bro. It’s hard being here in this world without you, feel as if we kept each other going in times when we needed each other most. And in the last month it’s been a hard time without you here, wish I could call you at any given second or FaceTime you. Or even go over to your apartment and see you, I miss you man. It’s hard seeing everyone hurt the way they are and especially feel the hurt I feel every single day. My sweet sweet boy...there is not one memory to share, there are 24 years worth of memories. We always had each others back, celebrated each others milestones, and we raised each other. The thing i will miss most about dan was his ability to make everyday better. I remember telling him that he had to come over to my sisters house for my birthday. He partied with me all night, he played all my favorite songs, he told me “this is going to be your best year yet!” As it now seems like the worst year ever, im so happy to be able to say dan was my best friend. I need you more than ever dan, and i promise to chose you in every lifetime. I hope you know how missed you are. I am beyond thankful for every moment i had with you. No amount of words can describe what we are all feeling. The laughter the joking around the quoting of our favorite TV shows the snowy afternoon rips on the trails doing things with me that you don't like to do but you did them anyway because that's who you are. No parent should ever have to lose a child. Our hearts are with you during this time.
My memory of Daniel was fishing with him and Cloey in the gulf of Mexico and the two of them catching mostly catfish.
I was struck by how close they were. Most siblings would probably bicker and there may have been some of that but they had each other's backs. They shared a respect for each other and enjoyed each other's company. I remember Dan helping Cloey bait her hook. They were around ages 14 and 12.
At the end of the day we went to Tom Thumb and bought huge cotton candy slurpies and I remember the two of them bantering back and forth on the ride home about slurping (of course you slurp slurpies), there time fishing and what they planned to do when they got home--i think play video games.
Cloey is going to miss her big brother and I know she will cherish the memories she has of him.
Thank you for posting the video tribute. It captured the essence of your family and of your love for Daniel and your love for each other. That love will sustain you during your loss. Keep doing the things strengthen it-- going on adventures, sharing your artistic talents, and singing your hearts away.

I will never forget all the times Dan was there for me when I needed him, he always had my back through thick and thin and I will forever miss that part about him.. he had the biggest heart, and he made sure all of his people felt loved and were taken care of… I will forever miss that smile, and of course his contagious laugh.

Man I really can't get over you being gone.. but I refuse to let these tears be in vain. I'll forever remember you for your bright beautiful smile. I remember going floating on the river a couple of summers ago and Daniel went as well. We were all connected together in our tubes, and I was next to Daniel, He was cracking jokes and laughing and telling stories! He had a wonderful personality and presence about him! A special boy, my first boyfriend, someone who holds a very special place in my heart. You heart never changed and you loved the people around you with passion. You always called the Mac and cheese my mom made “pink Mac and cheese” because of the red hot dogs, mom made it other day and it was pinkest it’s ever been. I’ll never forget your laugh, or when you would never and never did call my mom by her first name. Or how you feel would say “hush mode” when you were right, hush mode is still said around the house btw. We're in Shannon's car, the little black one. Shannon is driving. We're on our way to Harrison's 4th (I think) Birthday party in Newport. My son, Aiden, who is about 6, and Daniel, who is about 10 are in the back, and we're headed out of Bangor, driving by the Paul Bunyan statue. Aiden, who wants so badly to impress Daniel, points to the statue and says, "Oh! I learned about that guy! That's the Bald Onion! He got famous for chopping trees!" We all laughed so hard!!

Dan we had so much fun together man. It’s hard for me to even get myself to write this. I can’t believe you’re gone.. you always made me laugh so damn hard bro, and when we both got going together, we could’ve laughed for days.
I’ll never forget when you came to the Red Sox World Series parade with me, even after they beat your team, the Dodgers! Lol bro you were so real for that.
Your positivity and kindness mixed with a massive heart is how I’ll remember you. We met in grade school and became closer almost every year of our lives. You kept in touch with me when I was out of state for awhile, that meant a lot. I’ll always remember our Kevin Durant and Steph Curry debates. Our amazing madden games that ended in fights. I met you through your dad and the day is still very vivid to me. He introduced you to me at a friday night car meet and i just remember not being able to contain my thoughts which were “ holy crap you look just like your dad” i didn’t have the pleasure of knowing you very long but i did get to see alot in that short time . I remember giving you what i believe was your first kitchen job and you were a natural and excelled very quickly . I believe that probably was true with anything you set your mind to in life .
